Community Pet Clinic appears to be tied to Jollyes (the website and reviewer references describe “Jollyes” and a store-based setup), rather than a standalone independent practice. The information available suggests it supports multiple species (dogs, cats, birds, small pets, reptiles and fish) and uses an external out‑of‑hours provider when the store is closed. Recent feedback is mixed: some reviews describe the in-clinic appointment itself as “fine,” while others describe rigid vaccination timing and an online-only booking process as frustrating.
Concrete details mentioned include
4.3 stars from 690 reviews. - Vaccination scheduling rigidity: one reviewer describes being refused a booster one day early after previously being told by phone it would be OK, leading to a wasted trip and added stress for the kitten (2★).

Not impressed. Drove 80 mins for an appointment with this vets (as it was where our kitten received her first dose of a specific two-part vaccination). Despite double-checking over the phone that it would be OK to bring her in one day ahead of when her booster was technically due, the vet then point-blank refused to administer it when we arrived. What a complete waste of time, cost and stress (for both us and our pet). When we related this story to our local vets, they rolled their eyes and said that Jollyes should have been more flexible and balanced. Giving the second jab a day early would have carried very little risk and would have outweighed stressing the animal with another lengthy car journey the following week (the next time these vets were available). We’re now having both vaccinations done at our local vets (an additional cost, as it’s a different type of vaccine). We will not be returning to Jollyes and do not recommend their veterinary services.

The pet shop itself seems to have a wide variety of stock so I cannot criticise that. However, the vets clinic i can. Booking is all online and can cause some confusion if you arent entirely sure what you require, even when you call them they fob you off online. Also, some of the staff seem very unprofessional (not the vet). Discussing how much money etc will be handed over for upcoming bookings and worried about accidently losing £20 in their back pocket! Other than that the appointment once inside the vet clinic was fine.

Had a click and collect order to get today, I was served by the store manager. Very helpful and friendly, I asked for help carrying the 10kg sack of dog food to my car as I was carrying my child, straight away, he did that. Fast, easy and pleasant transaction. Will be visiting again when in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of discovering their new “members vs. non-members” pricing scheme. Yes, folks, if you’re not willing to hand over your personal information for their loyalty card, you now get the privilege of paying more for the same products! Isn’t that just delightful? Nothing says “we care about pets and their owners” like squeezing an extra few quid out of the ones who value their privacy. But hey, it’s not all bad – at least now I know exactly how much my data is worth to Jollyes. A few pence off my dog’s food in exchange for letting them know where I shop, what I buy, and probably my shoe size if they could get away with it. Such a generous trade! Honestly, who needs GDPR when we’ve got schemes like this to gently nudge us into surrendering our personal information? And let’s not forget the ethical cherry on top. Because nothing screams “community-focused pet shop” like penalising the very customers keeping their lights on. It’s almost like they’re saying, “We see you, loyal customers, and we’d like to charge you a little extra for your principles.” A masterclass in customer appreciation, truly. So, if you enjoy being coerced into membership programmes, love feeling like a second-class citizen at the checkout, and don’t mind your shopping experience being turned into a data-gathering exercise, Jollyes is the place for you. For the rest of us, I guess it’s time to shop elsewhere – somewhere that values pets and their owners. Bravo, Jollyes. Bravo.

I popped in to get some fish on friday and I must say the customer service was fantastic! I was asked lots of questions about my tank and I could tell the staff really cared about the welfare of their animals. Its not often large pet shops care much about aquatics and it was very nice to see this certainly wasn't the case with Jollyes. The marble mollies are enjoying their new 5ft home!! Thanks a million!!
